What is FlexCar?
It is the new, flexible way to get a vehicle, combining the benefits of leasing with absolute freedom in the lease duration and the right to purchase the vehicle at any time.
What is the advantage of FlexCar compared to traditional leasing?
We offer a minimal refundable deposit, zero guarantees, and complete flexibility. With no commitments or hidden fees, you can keep the vehicle for as long as you want or choose to buy it.
What is the process to express interest in a car?
You choose the vehicle you are interested in and upload the necessary documents (ID, driver's license, tax clearance). After approval and payment of the first monthly fee, you will receive the car in less than 10 days.
Can I really return the car whenever I want?
Yes, you can return it at any time, as long as you notify us at least 20 days prior to your desired return date.
What happens if I don't pay my monthly fee?
You will receive a reminder via e-mail. If the balance is not settled within 3 days of the reminder, you must return the vehicle; otherwise, the company will take legal action.
Is there a mileage limit per month or year?
There is no strict limit, but exceeding the free mileage allowance incurs an additional charge. The monthly limits are: 1,000 km (Scooters), 1,500 km (Motorcycles), 2,000 km (Passenger cars), and 2,500 km (Commercial vehicles).
Am I responsible for the daily care of the car, and am I liable for potential damage while using it?
Yes, you are responsible for its proper use. Upon return, any damage must not exceed normal wear and tear, otherwise, you will bear the repair costs.
I have a company, can I contact you for more than one car?
Absolutely. Contact us at info@flexcar.cy (or +357 22 055 635) to customize an offer that meets your business needs.
I am a professional, can I include the car leasing expenses in my tax return?
Yes. Every month you will receive an electronic invoice or receipt for your accounting records.
I am an individual, can I get a car from FlexCar?
Of course. Our service is designed to offer quick and easy mobility solutions to individuals as well.
How long will the car lease last?
The duration is indefinite. You keep the vehicle for as long as you wish and can return it whenever you want (with a 20-day notice) or buy it.
How do I return the car if I no longer need it?
You return it to the pickup location without any hidden charges, provided you notify us 20 days in advance.
How long do I have to wait to receive my car?
Pickup takes place in about 10 working days from the payment of the FlexDeposit and your first monthly fee.
Is there a down payment or guarantee I have to pay?
No traditional down payment or guarantee is required. Your only financial obligation before starting is the FlexDeposit.
What is the FlexDeposit?
It is a one-time payment equal to 2 monthly lease fees. It is refunded as a discount if you buy the car, or returned to you after 36 months of leasing. It also allows you to change vehicles every 24 months without paying it again.
Can I pay a larger down payment to lower my monthly fee?
Yes, you have the option to pay a larger initial amount to reduce your ongoing monthly lease fee.
Are there any hidden fees?
No, FlexCar's pricing is completely transparent with no extra or hidden charges.
Can I buy the vehicle I have leased?
Yes! With FlexCar, you can purchase your leased vehicle at any time and we will refund your FlexDeposit as a discount.
Can I lease a FlexCar if I am a new driver?
Yes, However, if you are under 23 years old there will be a small additional fee per month until you reach 23.
Are all FlexCar vehicles pre-owned?
No! FlexCar offers a wide selection of new and lightly used vehicles. All FlexCar vehicles listed on our platform are registered in Greece, thoroughly inspected in excellent condition and have low mileage.
